GOAL
Rebrand a niche product for more shelf appeal and expansion into more retailers. The Tieboss is a pully system that’s used to lift heavy objects, hold them in place, or tie them down. It is currently carried in Home Depot and the owners wanted to expand into more retailers.
SOLUTION
The Tieboss is a simple product that has a variety of different uses. The original brand had a very “as seen on TV” look which I believe was limiting it to a novelty product. Since the main uses were to hold up kayaks and bikes, tie down boats, and strap down outdoor gear I felt like it was a natural fit for outdoor supplies stores. Adjusting the branding to feel more rugged and hand built, as well as creating a new packaging system that felt right at home in an outdoor supplies store gave the product a new identity as a go-to outdoor accessory.
